Today, 28th March 2009, 8.30pm-9.30pm in your local time, has been disignated as the specific time when people of all the ages, nationalities, race and background have the opportunity to use their light switch as their vote- "Vote for the Earth, Vote against Global Warming".
Earth Hours was first started in year 2007 in Sydney, Australia. And this action allowing the message about climate change to shine brightly. In 2008, Earth Hour went global, more countries and peoples had been participated and unite for a common purpose, in respond to a global issue that affect all of us.
It is not just for big cities, which country you're from, anyone of us are allow to join in by simply turn off ur lights from 8.30pm-9.30pm in ur local time zone. Let's us work together to show our acknowledgement that sometimes little action can have big impact.

我们在飞机上也关灯了。
沙地没有这项仪式，医院不准关灯，不然闭录电视不能操作。
